Heidi Brandley

Heidi is presently the Manager of Entrepreneurship & Innovation at The Alberta School of Art & Design, a co-educational institution operating four academic schools, originating from the art department established by the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) in 1926. Prior to this position, she was Director of Workforce Development at Manpower – a Fortune 500 multinational organization that has served the Alberta and Canadian marketplace as the trusted workforce solutions brand helping clients to win in the ever-changing world of work.

Celebrated for her breakthrough work by both industry and peers, Heidi brings expertise in Leadership, Career Development and Education. She has developed highly effective, industry-focused training and employment programs with the purpose of upskilling the workforce of tomorrow. Heidi is an approachable, compassionate leader who builds incredible relationships centred around trust, while exhibiting a steadfast commitment to integrity.

Heidi is deeply passionate about organizational commitment to social responsibility, while making the support of diversity and female leadership a key priority. She also remains at the forefront of the job economy’s most compelling challenges, including labour mismatch and skills misalignment. Heidi mentors the next generation of leaders within the community. If that isn’t enough, Heidi is also a busy parent, raising her young family.
